look who's two
My baby turned two this weekend and I was a sobby, overly emotional, 28 week pregnant mess over the whole thing. I can't believe that 2 years has gone by this fast and that all too soon my baby isn't going to be my baby anymore. I'm due January 15th with this little one and while most days I feel like that is forever away (it is next year afterall) this weekend it felt like it was creeping up on me too fast.

Addie girl is such a little joy in our family! We had a small family birthday party yesterday for her and for family home evening watched a slideshow of her first two years (this is a FHE tradition we have whenever its one of the kids birthdays). The day was all about her and letting her know why we love her so much.

A little bit about Addie at 2 years old:
-she doesn't like to nap
-she is talking up a storm. says words like: daddy, mommy, arson, emmy, ippy (for sippy cup), bampa (for grandma and grandpa) and so many more words. she will copy anything her big brother says too, which isn't always a good thing (yes the word 'fart' is part of her vocabulary! much to my dismay!)
-my favorite thing she says, is when asked 'why' she will reply 'tause' it's so cute
-she LOVES 'be-bees' real ones especially
-and 'goggies' (doggies) they're another favorite
-when we're driving in the car anywhere and she spots some cows out her window she will yell (loudly) 'TOWS, TOWS, TOWS' until someone responds
-she thinks she's just one of the big kids
-she is taking her new position as resident two year old VERY seriously. sigh.
-prefers to pick out her own outfits
-her favorite songs are Popcorn Popping and I am a Child of God
-she is in size 2T pants, 3T tops and size 6 shoes.
-she adores her big brother...most of the time

I love shutterfly too. I have made several small books for gifts, cards and this year for christmas I am making a calendar. I would love to make a book. I can't justify the expense right now. My husband has been out of work for over a year now. What are the pumpking things? pancakes? cookies? They look really neat!
Congratulations! Send me a quick email and I'll get you the code for your free book!

ok. wow.

It took some work but I am SO excited to be caught up over on my Project 365 blog! I've never stopped taking the pictures it was getting the pictures posted on my blog that got put on the back burner there for a while. Sorting through all those photos over the past few days has got me thinking about what exactly I'm going to do with them all when this year is over.
I think I'm going to put them all together in a Shutterfly Book. Wouldn't that be so fun! They have some amazing designs and endless options over there at Shutterfly, my goodness!
How would you like to make a shutterfly book with me? If you would then leave a comment on this post telling me if you are already a shutterfly user why you love it so much OR if you haven't ever tried them out (which you should!) tell me what project you'd love to put together into a photo book and you'll be entered to win a code for a free Shutterfly book!
Good luck everyone! Contest closes tonight at 10pm.
